Skilled, passionate, and neurodivergent-friendly support

Hi, I’m Nathalie, or Nat, for short. I’m a UK-based bilingual virtual assistant (Dutch–English) with a background and passion in archaeology & heritage.

I offer tailored support for professionals across the sector — from academics and researchers to museums and beyond. Whether it’s organising project files, managing emails, or supporting public engagement, I’m here to lighten your load.

Whether you’re deep in fieldwork or buried in academic writing, I help you stay focused on the work that matters most.

As a neurodivergent professional myself, I prioritise clear communication, low-pressure collaboration, and zero judgment. Just calm, considered support — grounded in experience, and delivered on your terms.

I’m also a proud Community Member of the Society of Virtual Assistants — a UK-based organisation supporting ethical, professional VA services.

Professional Experience

Bringing over 13 years of experience in professional roles that demanded high-level organisational, technical, and communication skills for global companies.

Absolutely. Whether you need help with only inbox management, Audience & Community Engagement, or digitisation, I’m happy to jump in where needed.

Want to see everything I offer? Take a look at my Archaeology & Heritage Support services.

My hourly rate starts at £30, but that’s just one option.

I also offer monthly packages for ongoing support, and project-based packages for specific outcomes — like website refreshes, content creation, or translations.

This allows for more flexibility (and often better value) depending on what you need.

You can explore all pricing options and details on my Rates page.

This is a fair question, especially considering the archaeology & heritage sector has many budget constraints.

As of July 2025, the average hourly rate for a VA is £32.35. Due to rising (living) costs, this will soon go up to at least £35/h!

Because I am aware of the potential budget issues, I am charing £5/h less than for my regular business support and BELOW the hourly average in the UK!

I love the archaeology & heritage sector, and I am really passionate about helping, so I will do my best to keep prices down.

However, unfortunately I cannot drop below £30/h — being self-employed means no benefits such as pension or sick pay. Also, you do pay for experience, expertise, and niche support.

If you do struggle with finances but desperately need help, you are always welcome to contact me so I can see if there is anything I can do to help.

Yes — I combine real-world business experience with academic expertise.

I bring over 13 years of professional experience in customer support, business operations, and content creation — so I understand how things work behind the scenes and what effective, reliable support looks like in practice.

For my archaeology & heritage clients, that experience is backed by a BSc First Class Honours in Archaeology, and I’ll be starting an MRes (Master’s by Research) in the same field in October 2025. I offer the same high-quality support I provide to small business owners — tailored to the specific needs, language, and workflows of the archaeology & heritage sector.

You can explore my background here.

VAs can provide practical, behind-the-scenes support that helps people, projects, research, and engagement efforts run more smoothly — from organising files and email management to audience and community engagement and digital outreach.

My blog shares real examples of the kind of support I offer and the impact it can have across the sector.
